Long serving club member who raised large amounts of finance through his Committee work. Former successful 2nd XI all rounder and 'sixes' player and Past President.
Wilmer McKibbin
Appointed: 1987
Our Treasurer from 1982 until 1994. A high order batsman he played good Graham Cup cricket in 1958 and on most XIs through the 1970s. A league winner with 2nds and 4ths.
Dr Sidney Elliott
Appointed: 1987
Club Secretary 1972-1982 and again in 1994. A former club captain in 1979-1980 winning the Senior League Sec. 2 in 1979 and as captain of the 2nd XI winning the Junior Cup in 1986.
Ian Shields
Appointed: 2002
Club historian who has written our history in 'One Shot More for the Honour of Down'. Played for Ulster Schools, Ulster Town and Ulster Country and for the 1st XI for 30 seasons. Captain in 1973-75 and in 1985.
Don Shields
Appointed: 2002
Playing member since 1957 on all teams. Opening bowler and batsman on the 1st XI. Kept wicket throughout the club and is the oldest player to play competitative cricket at North Down.
Ian Carser
Appointed: 2002
Currently club Treasurer but was long-time Chairman from 1997 until 2014. Was off break bowler and batsman for the 1st XI and captained the side for 4 seasons winning the Irish Cup in 1993.
Robin Haire
Appointed: 2002
International cricketer winning 3 caps in 1986 and captaining the 1st XI for 9 seasons winning the Irish Cup in 1995. An all rounder bowling left arm spin and a high order batsman.
