Arthur Clay 1884-1886 Professional
During the 1880s and 90s the club had a succession of professionals who coached and worked on the ground. None was more highly thought of than Arthur Clay who performed his duties so well, that even after his third and final year in 1886 the club kept in close contact with him and he assisted the North Down committee in their regular deliberations regarding the appointment of new professionals.
