David Wishart

David has had family connections with the club going back a few generations but most recently with his illustrious father Walter and late brother Peter.

David has played throughout the club, the highlight probably being the 1994 tied Senior Challenge Cup Final against Lisburn at Downpatrick. He also has a Junior Cup Winner’s medal in 2006 and the 1986 League and Cup Winners’ medals.

A big hitter, he never wasted time at the crease, producing some prodigious scores in in a hurry.
