Albert Anderson

Local businessman, based where Hardy’s currently stands, who played as a 1st XI opening batsman both pre and post  1st World War.

Albert made his Senior Challenge Cup debut in 1908 scoring 37 in the final against Cliftonville. He went on to win 10 more Senior Challenge Cup winners’ medals with a batting average of 16.36 from his 19 innings.
