Ralph Coetzee
Having played against Ralph in the 2000 and the 2004 Senior Challenge Cup Finals , North Down was fully aware of the talents of the all rounder. He played at The Green from 2005 to 2009 and was an excellent left hand high order batsman and a slow left arm bowler who played 10 times for Ireland. At North Down he won a Senior Challenge Cup winners’ medal and Man of the Match award in 2005, scoring an unbeaten 51 in his ony innings and 4 for 39 in the match and another gold medal in the sesquicentenial final against Waringstown.
